A few weeks ago we attended a meeting held by the Sports Federation that outlined plans for the redevelopment of the Iffley Road sports complex. The first phase would be construction of a brand new sports hall on the land currently occupied by the minibus car park, and OUTTC is 1 of 29 Oxford sports clubs that would benefit from this.
The total cost is £ 8 million. They’ve got £ 4 million already, and are fundraising hard to get to the full amount. The drawing above is the architect’s impression of what it’d look like, and as you can see they’ve done us a special drawing with some table tennis tables in it!
