The annual college cuppers competition was played in Trinity term, with Seonsam Na and Chengxian Lin of Green Templeton College beating Mansfield’s Christopher Speller and Hyder Razak in the final. GTC will be the first name on the brand new cuppers trophy (pictured above with the victorious GTC team!) The coloured diagram shows how the knock-out stage played out.
The competition attracted 44 entries, significantly more than in previous years. Next year, to help the tournament progress faster through term, it is likely that the format will be changed to straight knock-out, but with a consolation tournament for all those teams exiting the main draw in the first round.
