President

Hi, I’m Leon. I’m a third-year undergraduate in PPE, studying at Magdalen College. I have the pleasure of being the president for the first time this year. I’ve grown up playing racket sports and table tennis is easily my favourite, having competed since the age of 9. I’m looking forward to seeing all the players grow this year, enjoying some great training and matches in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Hi, I’m George, the secretary of the club this year. I am an second year undergraduate studying physics at Exeter. As the secretary of the club, I will respond to any general matters in the club. Hi, I’m Tianen, a DPhil student in Clinical Medicine and a member of St Cross College. I enjoy playing table tennis and it’s my pleasure to contribute to the community as treasurer of OUTTC this year. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions. (tianen.he@ndm.ox.ac.uk)

Men’s 1st Team Captain

Hi there, I’m Kiarash, a second year law student and a physics graduate from my previous university. I first started playing table tennis when I was 8 with my dad in our garage and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’m from the local Oxford area and in fact have grown up playing against OUTTC so it’s my distinct pleasure to be part of OUTTC now and be the Men’s 1st team captain this year! Looking forward to an exciting year of table tennis on all fronts on the table, and growing cooperation between Town & Gown off it. Would love to hear from you so please free to get in contact at kiarash.shaddel@hmc.ox.ac.uk!

Men’s 2nd Team Captain

Hi my name is Abir and I’m this year’s second team captain. I’ve been at the club for a while so if you need anything feel free to reach out to me.

Women’s Captain

Hi, I am Beverly, a fourth year medic at Wadham and the current women’s team captain. I’ve enjoyed training and competing with OUTTC in the past three years.
